Viscoelastic Memory Foam

Developed by NASA, this open-cell visco-elastic foam was used to protect the astronauts from the multiple G forces during takeoff. The unique visco-elastic, temperature-sensitive open cell foam actually continuously molds and adjusts to the shape of your body, which reduces and minimizes all pressure points, relieving body stress and strain. The foam responds to heat by getting softer.

People have several different pressure points. These pressure points are the warmest, which makes the foam softer allowing the person to sink into the foam and gain support around the body. When used on a bed or in a cushion, a person gains a more comfort and less strain on the body. In the case of viscoelastic memory foam, it is better to have no more then 3 inches of thickness. This prevents sinking into the mattress.

Viscoelastic memory foam eliminates 87% of all gravitational pressure from the neck, spine, and hips. The foam is ideal for all age groups, from toddlers to senior citizens, and acts therapeutically for any athlete that engages in physical activity.

The visco-elastic foam is hypoallergenic, antibacterial, antifungal and ozone resistant. It reacts to the temperature of the body to form to the head, neck and body, giving proper support while maintaining softness. Memory foam is made is varying densities, offering a variety of comforts for all sizes, and problems. Available in traditional spring mattresses tas well as mattresses with no springs at all, sometimes combining latex, plant based foams, & wool, to offer even more pressure relieving sleep solutions!
